Abstract

  • The East Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in June 2022 rose 1.44 percent from 100.52 to 101.97. The increase in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) which increased by 2.18 percent, which was higher than the price index paid by farmers (Ib), which rose by 0.73 percent.
  • In June 2022, two agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in FTT and three sub-sectors experienced a decline. The sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Hortculture sub-sector by 19.20 percent from 103.51 to 123.38, followed by the People's Plantation Sub-sector by 2.67 percent from 100.53 to 103.21. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decrease in FTT was the Food Crops sub-sector by 1.63 percent from 99.05 to 97.44, followed by the Fisheries Sub-sector by 1.11 percent from 103.01 to 101.87 and the Livestock sub-sector by 0.11 percent from 102 ,32 becomes 102.20.
  • Of the five provinces on the island of Java that calculated FTT in June 2022, three provinces experienced an increase in FTT while two provinces experienced a decrease. The largest increase in NTP occurred in West Java Province by 2.24 percent, followed by East Java by 1.44 percent and Central Java by 1.31 percent. Meanwhile, the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Banten Province by 1.66 percent, followed by the Special Region of Yogyakarta by 0.22 percent.
