Abstract

The potential for rice harvested area in 2022 reaches around 1.70 million hectares, a decrease of 42.72 thousand hectares or 2.44 percent compared to 2021 which is 1.75 million hectares.
The potential for rice production in 2022 is 9.69 million tons of GKG, a decrease of 102.83 thousand tons of GKG or 1.05 percent compared to 2021 which is 9.79 million tons of GKG.
The potential for rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population reaches 5.59 million tons, a decrease of 59.37 thousand tons or 1.05 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which is 5.65 million tons.
