Abstract

The economy of Probolinggo Regency is based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2023 reaching IDR 42.38 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 reaching IDR 25.90 trillion.

  • Probolinggo Regency's economic activity in 2023 will grow positively by 4.73 percent. This figure is higher than economic growth in 2022 which was 4.52 percent. In terms of production, the Warehousing Transportation Business Field experienced the highest growth of 11.64 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Consumption Component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (LNPRT) experienced the highest growth of 9.32 percent.
  • Viewed from the production side, the economic structure of Probolinggo Regency in 2023 will be dominated by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields at 32.28 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, it is dominated by the Household Consumption Expenditure Component at 70.68 percent.
